Everything is a go for August 2nd, 2008The weather is hot. My backyard will be set up for the social, as the house will probably really heat up with so many people. I'll have a mattress put outside, as in the previous two parties. Yet, why be boring and do it on a mattress? Let's enjoy the summer heat !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!=== For marketing, pics will be taken and edited. I had one previous guest who was very upset that I have started to charge for the monthly parties. He has no idea of the time involved or spent. If I had nobody show up, he would probably be the first one to demand "where are the other people". I'm self employed, and according to my timesheet I have spent over 107 hrs since the last party. It took me 12hrs editing faces from the last party. Then add my time building from the previous parties as we gained in size. Marketing takes time. Acceptance takes time. Getting regulars takes time. I have over 45 informative pages on the party website. That takes time. Then the lube, condoms, setting the matresses & linen, towels, etc. Most people are lucky to put on a single party per year, mine are now monthly. I spend a half day on party cleanup as well. Then there is the inconvience to my tenants asked to leave during the evening. Not to mention the legalities and safety involved which I have to deal with. The sex is free. We all do it. I have no guilt though for charging for my time. These parties are fantastic and I have been doing them "free" since 2001. My neck is on the line, for all these parties and making them safer for the guests and I cannot afford to run them free. |
